The Save As Dialog allows saving a Report Writer, Analyzer, or Dashboard for later recall.

 

Edit Button: Puts the control in edit mode. This is automatic when Save As is invoked within the object. It is necessary to click the Edit button when selecting the object's Properties from a Recall list.

OK Button: Saves the object and dismisses the Dialog.

Cancel button: Dismisses the Dialog and takes no further action.

 

General Tab:

 

 

 

Name: The name of the object by which you will recall it later. Unique names are NOT enforced.

Description: An optional description that will appear along the name in the list.

 

Properties Tab:

 

 

Displays the parameters that were selected through the Report Parameters Dialog.

 

Rights Tab:

 

 

Allows setting of rights for for access to the saved object. See Concepts and Terminology for more information on Access Rights.
