Creating a new Analyzer
Analyzers are created either through the Analyzer sub node of the selected Review Template or by reloading it through the Recall sub node of the selected Review Template.
When a new analyzer is created, an Analyzer Parameters Dialog is presented. Click Ok when ready to generate the associated analyzer.
Once an analyzer has been loaded, the following toolbar will be available.
•Save: Saves the analyzer for later recall. If the analyzer has not already been saved (it is new), then the Save As dialog will appear. Otherwise, confirmation is asked for before overwriting the saved analyzer with the current version.
•Save As: Saves the analyzer for later recall using the given name. See the Save As dialog topic for more information.
•Export Analyzer Configuration: Allows for exporting the parameters and configuration of the analyzer to metadata. This metadata can then be assigned to other review templates. Metadata can be used intra-application (used within the same running instance of the application) or inter-application (used by another running instance of the application).
•Export Images: Includes or excludes the images within the analyzer in the exported document.
•Substitute NaN with: Allows custom text to be used when represent NaN values in an exported document. The default is NaN (Not a number).
•Print/Export Analyzer: Enables a WYSIWYG view of the analyzer for Printing and/or Exporting to a wide array of formats. See Print/Export Analyzer for more information.
•Print/Export Chart: Enables a WYSIWYG view of the chart for Printing and/or Exporting to a wide array of formats. See Print/Export Analyzer for more information.
•Edit Parameters: Loads the Analyzer Parameters dialog associated with the analyzer. Modifications to the query made be made and rerun to update the underlying analyzer.
•Expand All/Collapse All: Expands and Collapses the analyzer rows and columns respectively.
•Expression Editor: Opens the analyzer expression editor for creating calculated fields.
•Summary Type Field: Opens the Summary Type Field dialog. This is used for creating dynamic fields with running summaries.
•Grid Totals Shown: Toggles visibility of the totals within the Analyzer.
•Suspend Charting: If enabled, stops updating of the analyzer's respective chart.
•Chart Wizard: Launches the Chart Wizard for modifying the respective analyzer chart.
•Chart Designer: Launches the Chart Designer for modifying the respective analyze chart. Both the Chart Wizard and Chart Designer do the same thing. Both tools are provided as one may be preferred over the other.
•Chart To Clipboard: Copies the current chart to the clipboard. The format may be selected from the drop down list.
•Max Chart Size: Enlarges the chart to fill the analyzer space.
